Breast Cancer Australia

Each year, many thoughtful people choose to remember the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia in their Will.

Bequests play a vital role in supporting the breast cancer clinical trials research program. They help to ensure that research continues to make advances impacting the lives of people well into the future.

We recommend that you consult with a solicitor when making your Will.

If you wish to include the BCIA in your Will, the following wording should be used:

I (your name) give to the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia (BCIA):
  • the residue of my estate, or
  • ___________% of my estate, or
  • the lump sum of $______________ , or
  • my property known as _________________________ [eg, real estate, art works, shares, units or other securities in listed companies].
to be applied for general purposes by the BCIA as determined by its directors. I declare that the receipt of an authorised officer of the BCIA will be a sufficient discharge to my executors who will not be bound to see the application of this gift.
We understand the careful consideration required in making this important decision and would be very happy to discuss this with you.
To arrange a confidential discussion, obtain further information, or to leave a Bequest to the BCIA please:
